You will lead a remote team of 3-6 engineers building healthcare technology for pharmacies and clinics across Africa, starting with the patient programs projects team. The role blends people management (mentoring, feedback, hiring) with hands-on technical leadership: architecture, code reviews, incident management and roughly 20% direct contribution. Prior experience with Ruby on Rails, AWS infrastructure, Vue.js and Android/Kotlin is preferred, along with stakeholder management and turning ambiguous needs into concrete plans.
