Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for and how you can control it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is GRUPO V3 INVESTMENT S.A.S., a company incorporated in Colombia, tax ID (NIT) 901.474.433-8, domiciled in Carrera 84 # 5-100, Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia and legally represented by José Santiago García Lizcano. Contentu (contentu.co) is a brand of this company.

For anything related to your data, write to hola@contentu.co or agencia@theredbot.com.

This policy is governed by Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and other Colombian data protection rules.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, country, professional role, interests and goals. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture.
  • Usage data: your activity on the platform, such as content viewed, points, levels, challenges and community participation.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and session data, needed to run and protect the service.
  • Payment data: the record of your purchases and subscriptions. We never store or see your full card details; they are handled directly by the payment gateway.

3. How we use it

  • Create and manage your account and give you access to content.
  • Personalise your experience and recommend content.
  • Send you the newsletter and service notices you signed up for.
  • Run the community, challenges and the points and levels system.
  • Process your payments, manage your membership and handle refunds.
  • Answer your requests and complaints.
  • Comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
  • Improve the platform and detect fraud or abuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Your authorisation

By registering, subscribing to the newsletter or buying on the platform, you give us free, prior, express and informed authorisation to process your data for the purposes described above. You may revoke that authorisation at any time, except where a legal or contractual duty requires us to keep the data.

5. Sensitive data and minors

We do not request sensitive data (such as ethnic origin, health, biometric data, political or religious beliefs) and we ask you not to publish it in the community. Answering questions about sensitive data is always optional.

The platform is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents. If we detect a minor’s account without their guardian’s authorisation, we deactivate it.

6. Who we share it with

We work with providers that process data on our behalf, solely to deliver the service:

  • Supabase: database and authentication
  • Vercel: website hosting
  • Google: sign-in with your account
  • Brevo: email and newsletter delivery
  • Rebill: payment and subscription processing
  • Cal.com: meeting scheduling
  • ElevenLabs: voice agent on the site

We may also disclose information when legally required by a competent authority.

7. International transfers

Some of these providers keep servers outside Colombia, mainly in the United States and the European Union. By accepting this policy you authorise that international transfer and transmission of your data, with the security and confidentiality safeguards required by Colombian law.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete it, we erase or anonymise your information, except for records the law requires us to keep, such as the accounting and tax records of your payments, which are kept for the statutory period.

9. Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies, and authentication uses encrypted sessions. Traffic to the site is encrypted over HTTPS and administrative access is restricted. No system is infallible, but we apply reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to protect your information.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and for the basic operation of the site. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your language and newsletter preferences may be stored in your browser’s local storage. You can clear cookies from your browser, although that will sign you out.

11. Your rights

As the data subject you have the right to:

  • Know, update and correct your data.
  • Request proof of the authorisation you gave us.
  • Be informed about how we have used it.
  • Revoke your authorisation and request deletion of your data.
  • File complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).
  • Access your personal data free of charge.

12. How to exercise them

You can update or delete much of your information from your account settings.

For everything else, write to hola@contentu.co from your account email, describing your request. We handle queries within ten (10) business days and complaints within fifteen (15) business days. If we cannot answer within those periods, we tell you why and give a new date, no later than five (5) and eight (8) additional business days respectively.

Before going to the SIC, the law requires you to file your complaint directly with us first.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will publish the new version on this page with its date and notify registered users when the change is relevant. This policy works together with the Terms of Service and the Payments and Refunds Policy.
