Ubuntu Engineering Manager

Canonical is hiring engineering leaders to run teams building and maintaining Ubuntu, spanning Foundations, Server, Desktop and archive maintenance. The role blends people management, technical roadmap ownership and hands-on proximity to code, including planning, delivery and architecture reviews. It requires a software engineering background, proven experience leading and coaching strong engineers, proficiency in Rust, Go, Python, Flutter or C/C++, professional English and willingness to travel twice a year.
