Engineering Manager - Ubuntu Linux Kernel

Canonical is looking for senior engineers, tech leads or team leads ready to move into engineering management to lead a globally distributed team building and maintaining Ubuntu kernels across cloud, server, desktop and IoT. Requirements include a solid systems software or C background, mentoring and technical leadership skills, strong English, and willingness to travel twice a year; prior people management experience is not required. The role is fully remote with an annual learning budget and performance bonus.
