Canonical is hiring a software architect to lead the architecture and evolution of LXD and MicroCloud, its system container and virtual machine orchestration products on Linux. The role involves designing and developing in Golang and C, reviewing code, mentoring engineers, and ensuring secure, performant distributed systems. It requires strong Go and C experience plus virtualization, containers, storage and networking knowledge, along with technical leadership and professional English.
