Security Software Engineer

Canonical is hiring security-focused software engineers who join product teams to embed security practices such as threat modeling, architecture reviews, static analysis and fuzzing, while also contributing code to Ubuntu and upstream open source projects. It requires solid knowledge of vulnerability classes, modern software engineering, Linux, and at least one language among C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Ruby, PHP or JavaScript/TypeScript, plus fluent English and twice-yearly international travel.
