Containerization & Virtualisation Engineer

Canonical is hiring software engineers to work on open source container and virtualisation technology, from kernel-level components to userspace tooling (RustVMM, LXD, MicroK8s, Rockcraft, OpenStack). The role involves designing features, upstream community work, security analysis, performance benchmarking and code review within a fully distributed team. It requires strong Go, Rust or C/C++ skills, low-level Linux/kernel experience, professional English and willingness to travel twice a year.
