Software Developer (Backend SaaS)

Canonical is hiring a backend engineer for Landscape, its management platform for Ubuntu fleets in the enterprise, both on-premise and in public cloud. You will write high-quality code, fix bugs and modernize the codebase, with emphasis on public-facing APIs, web applications, automated testing and architectural reviews. Requirements include Python with Flask/Django, databases and ORMs (PostgreSQL a plus) and comfort with Ubuntu as a development platform; the team is fully distributed with 2-4 weeks of global travel per year.
