Software Engineer, Sustaining Engineering

Canonical is hiring a remote software engineer for its Sustaining Engineering team to troubleshoot and fix complex issues across the open source stack, from the kernel up through virtualization, storage, networking, OpenStack and Kubernetes. The role involves upstream bug fixes, patch backporting, code review and close work with support and product teams, and requires professional software engineering experience, strong Linux skills and development-level proficiency in Python, Go, C or C++.
