Software Engineering Manager - Containers and Virtualisation

Canonical is looking for an engineering manager to lead a remote team building data-center-scale private cloud infrastructure that combines KVM, Ceph and SDN, with components spanning from low-level kernel features up to the management API/CLI. The role requires deep Linux, container and Kubernetes knowledge, programming experience in C and/or Go, and a proven track record of coaching and growing distributed engineers. It is fully remote with global travel of 4-6 weeks per year for internal and external events.
